The Freedom 360 Short Carbon Monopod Pole is a highly versatile tool to hold and mount the 360-degree photo and video cameras. The basic principle behind the Freedom360 monopods is the “vanishing” render support where this tripod can be masked out before blending the final panorama, leaving either just a tiny smudged circle, or nothing at all in the final 360 panorama or video.
How To Use
Simply attach the camera or a panoramic head to the “thin end” of the pole and start shooting in any direction. Or attach the monopod to a regular tripod to gain an elevated view, or use a small tabletop tripod as foot, or attach a counter weight for a simplified steadycam setup, or attach the pole with a super clamp to a overhead structure, or extend the monopod with another pole, or or or… :)

Center Column Extension Trick
Some tripods on the market have a rather short or no center column. If you have such a tripod you can use this Freedom 360 monopod as a great add-on to your tripod, giving you an additional range of height without compromising load or stability.
Freedom 360 Carbon Fiber Poles conduct electricity very well. Please take extreme caution when raising and using these poles around electrical wires.
Horizontal and tilted use is at your own risk and always use with caution. Holding the pole tilted and/or horizontally lowers the maximum load capacity. In a case of usage that is not fully vertical never extend a segment all the way. Always leave at least 5cm “in the tube” for each segment, the more the better. Even if your 360 camera is very light (about 0.5 kg), additional forces can still break the carbon fiber or the components connected to the carbon fiber. Use good safety practices, including safety cables, especially if you rig the rig above crowds. Inspect your monopod, and discard it if you think the CF integrity has become compromised.
We are in no way responsible for unsafe practices when using this monopod, or should the monopod become damaged or break for whatever reason. Use at your own risk.
