"Pros: - very cheap for the 80$ I got it - It is very sturdy - you can fold it down so it doesn't take up a lot of space - I use it with my canon250D and it is long enough so that it works with both of my wide angle lenses: - Canon efs 10-18mm - Sigma ef 8mm fisheye Cons: - I think that the bubble level is broken - when you rotate the bottom rotator to take different angles you're unscrewing it so you need to do that in the right direction. - the camera plate should have some parallel lines so that you could screw the camera on it with the percise orientation."

"We're doing panoramic images since 2003 using various brands and technologies. Looking for a more reliable head I remembered Nodal Ninja and luckily I found panosociety. Purchasing experience was 100 out of 100 points. Everything worked smoothly and every question had already an answer, which showed professional competence at highest level. Highly recommended. The product itself came as advertised and it's a joy to use. There are three minor issues one should consider before deploying the Nodal Ninja 3 Mk II: Adjusting the arms of the head is tricky -- tightening the screws will move the arm. Using the small stoppers helps to adjust the arm right at the spot. The vertically rotating arm has only printed markings, and sure enough the print is on the front instead of the top, which makes it hard to read at times. A piece of tape solves this problem instantly. The arm is rotating without any stops -- once you loosened the knob, the arm swings down. As we run a very special sequence in out work, we can live with this issue, but if one wants to create multi-row 180/360 panoramic images with longer lenses, a head better fitted to this purpose is recommended. The camera receptacle is outright useless for our purpose. I replaced it with an Arca Swiss base to attach the camera in a snap. After overcoming all the minor quirks the little thing is a perfect addition to our arsenal and creating panoramic images is pure joy, period. Nodal Ninja 3 MKII with the standard rotator uses reversible brass detent rings that give the sound and feel of click stops. Having these different click stops allows the user to select how many degrees of rotation between shots. Available detent rings include 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 14, 15, 18, 20, & 24 stops per 360 degrees.

Will your camera and lens fit? Nodal Ninja 3 supports these maximum lengths:
A - maximum 70 mm: distance from the lower flat surface of camera to lens axis (does not depend on lens used)
B - maximum 107 mm: distance from the beginning of lens to camera display
If used with the T-III eccentric adapter the maximum B size will increase by 22 mm. In that case you probably won't be able to turn the camera directly up as it will collide with the lower vertical rail of the panoramic head.
If your measured numbers exceed the maximums shown here you will most likely need Nodal Ninja 6.
