The Quick Switch Right Angle Adapter (F8337) is an optional accessory for the Arca-Swiss Style Lever-Release Clamp (QRC-40L) on your NN3 MK3 or NN6 upper rail. The current QRC-40L mounts on the upper rail directly, using its own side wings, so the adapter is not required to use the clamp.
What the adapter adds: quick 90-degree orientation switching of the clamp. With its 4mm thickness, similar to the camera mounting plate, it slides smoothly along the rail without twisting. It also comes with a longer camera mounting knob for a more secure hold.
Note: remove the clamp's side wings when the adapter is in use.
