This special adapter fits onto the top of the lower section of Pole Series 3. With the use of this adapter user can now mount a pano head or other device that uses 3/8 thread mount. The Pole Series 3 Lower Unit is much stronger and more rigid than Pole Series 1/2 allowing for mounting heavy gear . Greater stability also allows for longer exposure captures. Together with safety wire, the lower segment of pole series 3 is ideal for horizontal applications.
